Welcome to Day 4 of the Antibullying
Week 2023, I am thrilled to share with you the exciting and impactful
activities we have designed for children across the Early Years Foundation
Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 5. These activities are available in pdf form, and can be downloaded below. At Shielded Space, we believe in fostering a
culture of respect, kindness, and unity, and what better way to instill these
values than through engaging and thought-provoking activities with children.
For our youngest learners in EYFS:
Our little ones are the future, and
it is never too early to start teaching them about kindness and empathy. In
this EYFS document, you will find activities that incorporate storytelling,
creative arts and crafts, and interactive games. With this document, our
children will embark on a journey of friendship and understanding, learning the
power of inclusion and celebrating each other's uniqueness.
For the children in Key Stages 1 and
2, we have curated a blend of fun and educational activities. From
team-building exercises to interactive discussions about the impact of words
and actions, these activities aim to empower our young learners to stand up
against bullying and be the change-makers in their schools. It is our way of
inspiring courage and resilience in our primary school students!
Our older students in Key Stages 3 to
5 will delve deeper into the complexities of bullying and its various forms.
Through group discussions, reflective writing, and collaborative projects, we
aim to equip them with the tools to be advocates for change. This is an
opportunity for them to not only understand the importance of empathy but also
to develop leadership skills that can create a positive and inclusive school
environment.
