Cyberbullying has become a concerning challenge in today's interconnected society, as research shows that 38% ofpeople experience cyberbullying on social media platforms daily. In this blog post, we delve into the intricacies of cyberbullying, explore its impact, and equip you with tools to create a Shielded Space online.


Understanding Cyberbullying: What It Is and Its Forms

Cyberbullying encompasses various forms of online harassment that can inflict emotional distress on individuals. It can manifest as:

·   Online Harassment: Unwanted, aggressive behavior that targets an individual repeatedly.

·   Cyberstalking: Persistent and intrusive online tracking and monitoring of an individual.

·    Spreading Rumors: Disseminating false or damaging information about a person online.

·  Impersonation: Creating fake profiles or pretending to be someone else to deceive or harm.

Recognising these forms is the first step in combatting cyberbullying. Now let's briefly look at the impact.

·      Physical Health Issues: The stress and emotional strain resulting from cyberbullying can manifest physically, potentially leading to headaches, sleep disturbances, and other health issues.
